The expiry of the Viagra patent on Friday 21 June 2013 in several European countries including the United States had various results for sildenafil citrate manufacturers inredibly reporting their product results within a few weeks. Sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) can take up to two to three weeks to reach its final production stage. However, after the final production stage, the final price of sildenafil will likely be lower. This is likely to be related to market competition and sildenafil patent expiry has some competition related problems for manufacturers in the market. There have been many reports in the market that Viagra has been withdrawn from the market due to patent expiry due to lower prices. We are not aware of any companies or manufacturers withdrawn from the market due to sildenafil sildenafil patent expiry has competition related problems for manufacturers in the market.

The pharmaceutical company Takeda Pharmaceuticals Co. (Takeda) has launched a new form of the first drug approved to treat erectile dysfunction in the Thai market, the company announced Wednesday.
Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition that causes difficulties in achieving or maintaining an erection. The drug works by improving blood flow to the penis. It is known for its effectiveness in treating patients with mild symptoms such as erectile dysfunction.
Takeda has filed patents for the drug and has been granted permission to market a generic version of the drug, which is called Viagra, in the Thai market. The company has also filed for approval of its new version, which will be called Kamagra. It has also filed patents for Viagra as well as the generic version, which is the same medication that is already available in the market.
The company said that it will begin to market Viagra at the end of the year, but will have to work with Takeda to get the drug to market within two years.
“Our mission is to provide all patients with erectile dysfunction treatment, a treatment that will improve their quality of life and reduce their risk of health complications,” Takeda CEO and chairman Choe Hukung Phuket told reporters.
He said that erectile dysfunction is a common condition in which men suffer from low sexual desire, but it can be caused by underlying conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol.
“The most common reason that causes erectile dysfunction is the lack of blood flow to the penis, which is what causes it,” Phuket said. “A number of other reasons are also possible such as other medical conditions and medications that can increase blood flow to the penis.”
Phuket is currently conducting further tests on the drug’s potential to be approved as a treatment for erectile dysfunction.
“We are very pleased with the approval of this drug and will be expanding it to include other areas of the body,” Phuket said. “Our hope is that this will provide a more comprehensive and targeted treatment to improve the quality of life for patients with erectile dysfunction.”
Takeda, the pharmaceutical company, said that it would be launching the new drug at the end of the year.
The drug, which was approved for use in China as part of a wider program to improve treatment for erectile dysfunction, will be available to consumers starting in the middle of this year. The company is also looking for an alternative generic version, which may not be available in the market until 2017.
The drug is expected to be manufactured by Takeda’s division of pharmaceutical company Sichuan Pharmaceutical Group Limited in a facility in Shanghai. It is also expected to be launched in more than 30 countries, including the United States, Europe, Brazil and Europe, and is expected to be available to consumers in December 2018.
Takeda said it had received approval to manufacture and supply the generic drug to its customers in Thailand. Takeda’s patent for the drug will also expire in 2017.
